What is IOFW?India Online Fashion Week

IOFW is the acronym for ‘India Online Fashion Week’ an initiative by the fashion giant for customers to reach out to designer wears. Yes, you read it right. It is an online fashion event, which is the first of its kind. IOFW is the first shop-able fashion week in the world. I am much excited as I can watch it live sitting at home and can shop meantime too! Very much interesting, isn’t it?

What’s special about IOFW?

India Online Fashion Week Itself is Special!

This concept of online fashion week itself is new in the world. This fashion week can be watched online. We can ‘shop-the-look’ as and when we are watching it! The collections are available for purchase on one and only 🙂

Shop Designer Wears Online Through -‘Launch, Showcase & Sell’

As the new collection is launched, soon it is showcased on your ultimate fashion stop and sold to you. Thus, in ‘zero’ time, you will get access to the latest brand designer collection anywhere on your fingertips through IOFW!

Recognition and Platform for Talent

Budding designers, models, photographers and hairstylist/make-up artists across India are given opportunity to meet their prospective customers through India Online Fashion Week. – One who’s behind IOFW?

JabongIOFW is an initiative by, one of the top online destinations for fashion that is loved and followed by about 2.65 million people on facebook. The motive behind this India Online fashion Week is to make designer wears reach the customers faster than ever before. This event serves as a platform for new talents in designing, modelling, fashion photography and hairstyle/make-up artists.

When Will IOFW be Taking Place?

This India Online fashion Week, the world’s first online shop-able fashion week, is scheduled to be held from July 25 – July 30 2014. IOFW is aimed to reach millions of people through The artists across four broad categories – designers, models, fashion photographers, and hairstylists and makeup artists have already applied for the competition. Currently, registration is closed and voting is live on IOFW. IOFW will also launch a Fall Festive collection of prêt and party designs.

I am thrilled by the very idea of India Online fashion Week. I am eagerly looking forward to 25th July to make this fashion feast a successful one! I am hoping that this online shop-able fashion show would be the first step towards bringing fashion close to all the fashion enthusiasts and start of new fashion era. Keeping hopes alive, I request all the Tantu readers not to miss 25th – 30th July, 2014 and to taste the trending shop-able fashion show and share with us!
